Bypakke Kristiansund is a co-operation between Kristiansund municipality, Møre og Romsdal county and the Norwegian Public Roads Administration in order to develop an efficient, safe and environmentally friendly transport system in Kristiansund. The contract "National Road 70 Trollsvingen – Røsslyngveien and public transport lane Goma-Atlanten" shall contribute to the intention of the city package; connection between urban development and the development of transport systems and laying the basis for more of the growth in passenger transport being taken by public transport, bicycle and walking. The contract work includes, among other things, the construction of a new roundabout, subways, public transport lane, side road and cycle path with a pavement as well as two car parks. The scheme replaces the previous purchasing scheme. The procurement scheme shall include municipal buildings and residences at the contracting authority, including schools, nurseries, residential and activity centres, nursing and old people ́s homes, swimming and sports centres, office buildings, arts centres, municipal rental housing, health centres etc. Invitations to submit tenders under the scheme will mainly apply to minor investment and maintenance projects, based on the at any given time applicable action and financial plan, and will mainly be carried out as execution contracts or builder-developed turnkey contracts.
