Norway – Environmental monitoring other than for construction – Environmental toxins in urban business network 2026-2030

The assignment shall contribute with data on how substances are concentrated via business chains (biomagnification) in Mjøsa, Oslofjorden, as well as parks and near-town forests in Oslo. In addition, the program should provide information on what levels of environmental toxins animals living in these environments are exposed to and whether the environmental toxins the animals have in their bodies overall make up a cause for concern, either for themselves or for other animals who eat them. The assignment involves sample collection, sample preparation, chemical analysis of environmental poisons and interpretation and reporting of the results.
